Specialist Program – Level II
Selection Process
Step One
Teachers who successfully complete the Leader Program may apply to participate in the
Specialist Program.
Step Two
Teachers select a discipline they wish to specialize in.
PHASE I Will offer advanced education in STEAM, Bilingual and Ocean Literacy.
PHASE II Will offer additional advanced education programs.
Step Three
PIER will schedule teachers into their requested Specialist Program. A teacher may take
additional Specialist Programs. To do so, they must have:
Successfully completed their first Specialist Program.
There is available space in their selected Specialist Program.
