If you say "equity" outside the realm of a financial conversation, I have found that I can very quickly discern pretty much your entire worldview rather accurately. Kinda like the kid with the purple hair and cheek ring who shows up for a job interview
It is insidious how the disaffected left has been using simple wordplay to alter meanings and convince otherwise reasonably intelligent people (I'm hopeful) to do things and think ways they otherwise would not. Your final sentence says it all......everyone needs to grow a pair and speak up with conviction to idiot ideas and concepts that in any other time would have gotten these people a failing grade. True concept. If equity is a core goal, the project can't fail regardless of bad outcomes. Everybody failing together is equity at its core.
